Sam Updike teamed with Barbizon and their systems division in New York, tackled the startup, commissioning, and programming of this new bridge in Montréal. With just under 45 full universes of discrete fixture control, this bridge now illuminates the St. Lawrence River nightly with bright, colorful effects.

We have continued to provide remote support to the bridge as they request additional lighting effects. This project was recently praised by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for the bridge’s rainbow effect lifting spirits during the COVID-19 crisis.
